Ultrasound - Dr Appointment

We went for an ultrasound on Saturday March 7th. Everything looked good except she was still transverse. She likes to lay across my belly kicking my ribs. On Monday March 9th we went to see Dr. Mayo to discuss the ultrasound results. The plan of action is to have another ultrasound on Saturday March 21 and see Dr. Mayo that afternoon and make a plan for delivery at that time. If she is still transverse a c section will be planned.

Name

We finally decided on a middle name and went with Brooke's choice. Name will be Emily Paige Zuniga!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all cant wait for her arrival!!!!

Dr. Appointment

We went to see Dr. Clarke on Thursday February 5th and discovered I had gestational diabetes. Guess its time to change the diet. It will be a good thing its great to take sugar out of ones diet.

The baby is also breech so we will be having a biophysical profile. I will update after that should be interesting to see how they measure her.

She is getting big and likes to jump from my cervix to ribs its a fun game haha.

3d ultrasound

On January 17th, 2009 we went for a 3d ultrasound. The ultrasound was so cool. Emily has hair and could see a dimple on her cheek. She was giving the ultrasound tech a hard time as she was sucking on the inside of her elbow so it was hard to see her face. Brooke and Zachary were amazed at they could hear her heartbeat. We cannot wait for Emily to arrive. The first picture is her cute face the second her hand and the third her feet.

OK, looks like the results are in. 33% of you said the baby would be a boy and 67% of you said the baby would be a girl. As you can tell by the previous post, the poll results proved to be correct.

Both Shannon and I have settled on a first name for the baby(so far), Emily. We have a list of middle names, but are undecided. We are posting another poll for input on the middle name. To aid you in your decision, the baby's last name will be Zuniga.

Baby Is A .......

On Tuesday November 18th we all went to get an ultrasound. The ultrasound tech called me in and did measurements of the baby. Measurements were a little difficult as the tech had to chase the baby as it was moving alot. Then she called in Al and the kids. She showed us some pictures of the spine, head, nose, feet hands. Next the tech said so you want to find out what the sex of the baby is we all said yes. She showed us that we are having a baby girl. Zach said oh geese, Brooke was all excited she has been saying for months that she is having a baby sister (good thing she is a girl) and Daddy was very excited. After the appointment I called grandma, grandpa and Auntie. We are all excited.


I have been feeling this baby girl move alot. I think I am starting to realize why I cannot sleep at night because she is awake doing summersaults all night!!!!!
